Eva Inez Burke left this world to be with her Lord and Savior in Heaven on October 29, 2022. She passed away in DeWitt Nursing Home with her family by her side. Inez was a lifetime resident of Elaine, Arkansas but spent the last four years in DeWitt Nursing Home.
She was born on January 15, 1921 (101 years old) to the late Charles L. Jones and Pearly V. Jones. She had three brothers and three sisters (Rudolph Jones, David Jones, Jimmy Jones, Desiree Toney, Betty Moneymaker and Jeanette Clark)- all who have preceded her in death.
Inez and her husband (the late LE Burke) had three children, Eva Burke Wyse (and the late Bob Wyse), the late Larry Burke (Linda Burke) and Pat Burke Johnston (Jerry Johnston). Inez leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and sixteen (many) great-great-grandchildren.
Inez had a long and blessed life on this Earth and saw many hardships but also praises. She kept her faith in Christ until the end. She was loved dearly by her family, friends and church family.
We love you Mom. You will be truly missed.
A funeral service for Eva Inez Burke will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Elaine Baptist Church in Elaine, Arkansas. A visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Elaine Baptist Church in Elaine, Arkansas. Brother Luke Watson will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Brett Cummings, Garrett Cummings, Grant Bonner, Jeremy Prine, Greg Wyse, Dewayne Cummings, Tony Russell, Vaughn Mora, Josh Wyse and Billy Wyse.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the Deacons of Elaine Baptist Church.
Donations can be made to Elaine Baptist Church.
