Terry W. Price, 64, of Batesville, passed away October 27, 2022 in Searcy.
He was born May 7, 1958 in Batesville, Arkansas to Von Price and Maxine Clouse Price.
Terry was a member of First Baptist Church and loved his Sunday school class; and he loved his family. He worked at Dixie's Grocery Store for over 10 years stocking shelves, sacking groceries, ordering the milk and anything else that he could do to help. Every night at 7:00 pm on the dot, Terry would call Dixie! Terry was the ultimate "foodie", he loved to eat and his favorite food was steak; he also loved Dr. Pepper. He was on the Special Olympics National Bowling Team and even competed in a tournament in New York City. Terry enjoyed square dancing and country music; he also enjoyed watching NASCAR, playing video games and loved taking trips to Branson.
Survivors include his brother, Larry Price (Janice) of Batesville; sister, Becky Baber (Ricky) of Springdale; nieces, Kim Gleghorn (Brent), Karen Langston (Brad); nephew, James Baber (Meagan) and special friends, Dixie and Barbara Carpenter.
He was preceded in death by his parents and infant brother, James Michael Price.
Pallbearers are James Baber, Logan Gleghorn, Brent Gleghorn, Brad Langston, David Nobles and David Carpenter. Honorary pallbearers will be White River Specialized Industries Staff and Clients.
Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at First Baptist Church officiated by Stacy Reed and Gene Tulburg. Burial will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 pm Tuesday prior to service at the church.
Memorials may be made in his honor to White River Specialized Industries, 1550 Cottonwood Dr. Batesville, AR 72501, First Baptist Church Building Fund, 610 E. Main Street, Batesville, AR 72501 and/or Independence County Special Olympics, 146 CR 964, Brookland, AR 72417.

Larry, Becky and family, We are so sorry to learn of Terry’s death. I know for sure that your Mother loved all of her children as she always made a point of telling everyone at Sterlings Store. Terry was so good to my grandparents he would even go to the grocery story for them. I know his happy days were enjoyed by many
and will be missed.
I was saddened to hear Terry had passed away. I remember him working at Thriftway. He was a hard worker. I also remember Dixie bringing him to the fairground every year to get his pass the fair board gave him. He loved the fair. We missed him not being there this year

I remember seeing Terry at Dixie's and a smile , I didn't know him personaly but remember seeing him , May God comfort the family during this time !
Terry was a special person. When I would see him he would fill me in on the family news. Larry, Becky, and families my prayers are with all of you.
I didn't know Terry personally but I do remember seeing him working at Dixie's back in the day. Didn't realize that he was Larry's brother until now. They don't come here any better than Larry Price. Sounds like Terry followed closely in his footsteps.

I was saddened to read of Terry's passing. I'm sure he has been in inspiration to those at First Baptist and will be missed by all that loved him.
It's my prayer that Larry and the rest of the extended family and friends find peace knowing Terry's faith in our Lord and Savior.
Remembering Terry and his joyful heart, loved walking by our house to and from his work at the grocery store. Many could learn from the life he led. We'll miss his example , what a sweetheart. I have not seen Terry in years, but his memory is engraved forever. Praise God for Terry, and bless you all family. So sorry.

We had the privilege of having Terry and our Sunday school class. He always had a smile on his face, shaking hands and always friendly.
Larry Janice and family took excellent care of Terry. He lacked for nothing, including trips, ballgames, visiting with friends and family.
I know Terry is with his Heavenly Father, healthy, happy, and whole. I know that brings comfort to the family. Praying for the family.
I have known my friend Terry since I was a teenager. He was always smiling and so gracious to be around. He will be missed. He was definitely one of God’s angels placed on this earth. Praying for all of his family as I know he will be missed. The Heavens just got a little bit brighter.

So sorry for your loss of Terry. Terry liked everyone he met and everyone liked Terry. I can still remember the time he spent working for Dixie at the grocery store. He loved that job and was very good at what he did. Larry and Janice , Debi and I have you both and the entire family in our prayers.
