Aunt Velva was so much fun! I loved her wit and smile. My earliest childhood memory of her was in the late 60's when her family visited ours in Denver. At the time I remember her singing, "Everything is beautiful in its own way" and she had a lovely voice.
I am remiss in adding my name for remembering wonderful Velva. I lived in Batesville for 10 years and spent many wonderful days and evenings making memories. She was special.
She made us laugh. She was just Velva. She will be missed.
My deepest sympathy...
