Jessie,

You mean so much to so many people. Your faith was comparable to no one. For the first time in my life I am at a true loss of words. My heart hurts knowing you’re not a phone call away, but my faith is overjoyed knowing you are in paradise. My family and I are forever blessed because of you. You truly were a prayer warrior! I will miss your warm embrace and look forward to the day we get to meet again!

I remember staying with Christine when we were kids in school. Jessie was always so nice and sweet. She always talked and asked me about my parents. Even if I ran into her at a store or something she was always so sweet. And I know she loved her girls. She was a beautiful soul. She’s in heaven I know. But I’m sure she is still watching over her family. My deepest condolences to all of her family.

Sweet Jesse, I’ll forever hold close every word you told me. You never let me forget how much you loved us, but you also called it like you saw it. All I had to do was look at you and you knew exactly what to say, how to say it, and when to say it. Thank you for being such a big part of my life, You were the true definition of what to love like Jesus was. Love you forever Jesse, I know you have one of the best seats up there. 🤍

My sweet Spiritual Mom Jessie,

I will never forget the prayers, warm hugs, and “I love you” every time you visited. You touched my whole family, and your prayers changed my life. Not many people get the privilege of knowing someone like you, and I know it wasn’t a coincidence that our paths crossed. I know that it was appointed by God. I will never forget the times that I have spent with you. Love you forever and ever Jessie.

Love,
Your spiritual daughter Erica

It doesn’t come to surprise that the name “Jesse” is the same as “Jesus” - her very character, demeanor, and life reflected that of Jesus of Nazareth. She was a mother of the faith to me, and to many. So I write both with a broken heart, and with a full heart - knowing our dear Jesse is with her lord and savior. For now - I will continue the work she laid down in my heart from a young age. “On earth as it is in Heaven” - Amen. See you on the other side Jesse - can’t wait to celebrate with you in the presence of our Jesus.

My very first mentor, She taught me many spiritual things, she lived Jesus, loved as he did, always boldly proclaiming the Lord.
If you needed prayer she would storm heavens gates for you. I appreciate all her prayers for my family. And our friends here in California. She was the first person to say my son would be a preacher of the gospel.which he is. She shall be in our hearts until we meet again. She always ended. every conversation with I LOVE YOU.❤️ Love you so much Jesse

I’m very sorry to read of Jessie’s passing. We once served on a jury together, and after that every time we ran into each other we’d have a nice little visit and she’d share about the girls, whom I taught in 7th or 8th grade. I always enjoyed catching up a bit. My sincere condolences to all her family.
