Tina Karlene Cardwell-Johnson, 58, passed away from this life on September 3, 2022 at her home in Marianna, Arkansas.
Tina was born February 19, 1964 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to the late Tim Cardwell and Wilma Doyle-Cardwell.
Tina was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Anthony "Tony" Higdon.
Moving to Marianna, AR in 1978, Tina went on to marry husband, Rickey Johnson, on August 14, 1987. After graduating with her nursing license in 1993, Tina spent 20 years as a home health nurse. She then expanded her nursing career by spending several years as a telehealth nurse for UAMS, before completing her nursing career working for the Lee County School District.
Naturally gifted with a heart for others, Tina devoted her life to her patients and her family. Known as a mother to many, she never hesitated to take in and care for others at a moment's notice. Tina was incredibly witty, hardworking, caring and will be loved and missed by many. She will be missed most by her immediate family whose lives were most affected by the love she gave.
She is survived by her husband, Rickey Johnson of Marianna, AR; 2 sons, Billy Smith, Jr. (Indigo) of Winslow, AR , Brandon Cardwell of Marianna, AR; 6 daughters, Summer Cloninger (Johnathan) of Fort Hood, TX, Shawna Tyner (Skip) of Springdale, AR, Johnna Thomasson (Cole) of Stephenville, TX, Haley Cardwell of Goldsboro, NC, Ayla Cardwell of San Diego, CA and Brianne Burns (Tommy) of Conroe, TX; 21 grandchildren, Megan Smith, Patience Smith, Tristan Smith, Mackenzie Smith, Blane Smith, Colton Smith, Fiona Smith, Cameron Wilkes, Landen Wilkes, Kolleen Wilkes, Kharrington Hatcher, Keegan Hatcher, Garrison Tyner, Parker Tyner, Sawyer Thomasson, Bellamy Thomasson, Alexius Potter, Charlotte Burns, Rylee Fuller, Hannah Ratton, Ethan Ratton; 1 great-grandchild, Ramiro "Rami" Navarro; 3 brothers, Mike Tidwell, Wayne Higdon (Carol), Tim Cardwell; 4 sisters, Letha Henley, Becky Hash, Patricia Bangerter (Bob), Brenda Kemp (Randy) and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Services will be private.

Tina was like the big sister I never had. I would follow her everywhere she went when I was a kid. Lots of good memories. We love y’all. ðŸ™ðŸ»â¤ï¸
Tina was an asset to the Marianna School district. She was a caring parent who made my job easier..She will truly be missed 💕 My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
