Makensy Kathryn Mitchell, 26, of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2022 in Arkoma, Oklahoma. She was born on July 13, 1996 in Fort Smith to her parents, Michael Mitchell and Jascinda (Pennington) Craig.
Makensy was as Certified Nurses Aid at Paris Health and Rehabilitation and loved to sing, dance and spend time with her family.
She is survived by her parents, Michael Mitchell of Paris and Jascinda Craig and husband, William of Indianapolis, Indiana; five sisters, Mykka Bottoms and Dustin Rofkhar of Paris, Mikayla Mitchell of Paris, Randi Lovell of Little Rock, Kambra Mitchell of Texas and Layla Craig of Indianapolis, Indiana; two brothers, Mikkie Mitchell of Paris and Grady Law of Ratcliff; her grandfather, Rick Pennington of Caulksville; her aunt and uncle, Chris and Alena Pennington of Paris; her beloved cat, Marvel and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at the First Freewill Baptist Church in Paris officiated by Rev. Derek Stinnett. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
