Oh my, what a loss! Sonja was an absolute delight - funny, smart, quick-witted, and such a great friend. She and I ran an oil and gas exploration business together for many years. I always said that if she ever quit the oil and gas industry, I would also because she was my go-to person. Many fond memories of her that I will always treasure. Blessings to her family.
Sending condolences, to the family and friends, of Mrs. Sonja Fletcher. I am so saddened to hear of your loss. I never met or talked to Mrs. Fletcher, just an avid reader of her Facebook Postings and a member of the group. I will sadly miss her postings. I’m from Shoal Creek/Midway Arkansas and enjoy all of the Facebook Postings.

Was a blessing meeting such a special woman. No matter how small the details of your life, she always remembered them! I told her she had a personality I would have given lots to have. It’s said you pass like you lived and hours before she passed, you could hear her chuckle !!!! I know she will be missed and I pray for comfort for her dear loved ones! God bless you allâ¤ï¸
Oh, how I will miss Sonja's sense of humor. I started training in oil and gas with her more years ago than I want to admit. She was smart, quick-witted and a pure pleasure to know. My sympathy to her family, but, just know, wherever she is, its a happier place because of her presence.
My sincere condolences to Sonja’s family and friends. I only knew her through the internet, but felt as if I knew her in person. She has helped many with her newspaper articles that she has shared. The long hours she spent helping others touched the lives of many. She definitely touched mine. May God be with each of you at this time and in the future is my prayer.

I treasured Sonja's friendship and will miss her more than words can say. She had a heart of gold and always thought of others. I loved our exchanges of Paris history and the genealogies of so many of the families of Logan County. She had a wonderful mind and could recall so many people, places, and things about our corner of Logan County. She was truly one of a kind, and I, as well as everyone who knew her, know she leaves a big hole in my life that cannot be filled. Rest well, dear friend.

Tears are streaming down my face. I have known Sonja since we were kids living in the same neighborhood. She did so much to keep the history of Paris alive and I valued her friendship. I know she is visiting with Joyce (Friddle) in heaven and comparing notes. Rest in Peace Sonja. You will be greatly missed.
I am so saddened to read of Sonja’s death. She had been a friend since high school. She was a year ahead of me in school, but our classes had a couple of joint reunions, and Sonja was the one in her class who always kept up with everyone. She was so, so smart and truly interested in learning about a lot of different subjects, but especially local history. I kept a copy of the Logan County history she wrote as a high school student in the library at PHS years later. Students often used it as a resource. The Facebook page she helped administer is a sourced of information for thousands and has afforded lots of people the opportunity to learn more about their roots or to reconnect with long lost friends. Sonja was probably more knowledgeable about our history than anyone else. Besides all this, she was a genuinely nice person. Our community has lost a great lady, and we will miss her. My sincere condolences to the family.
Much love and continuing prayers for all of you. Please reach out if there is anything you need in the coming days.
