Susan Lee Madsen, 77, of Stuttgart passed away August 25, 2022.
Susan was born June 8, 1945 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Bruce and Rebecca Bennett. She graduated from El Dorado High School in 1963. She attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and moved to Stuttgart in 1975. After working for more than 20 years at the Pine Bluff Convention Center as the Group Travel & Services Manager and the coordinator for the Arkansas Entertainers Hall of Fame, she retired in 2017.
She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Bruce Madsen and daughter in law, Brooke Madsen.
She is survived by her son, Michael Madsen of Lowell, AR and twin daughters, Leslie (Bryan) Brewer and Jennifer (Kirk) Bueker of Stuttgart; daughter in law, Leslie Madsen of Humphrey, AR; brother, Jim (Lisa) Bennett of El Dorado, AR; grandchildren, Jackson Brewer, Caleb Brewer, Brittany (Steven) Frank, Kade Bueker, Madi Bueker, Spencer (Erika) Madsen, Tessie (Beau) Lott, Autumn Madsen, Abby Madsen and Campbell Madsen; great-grandchildren, Raylan Madsen, Enzo Silva, Ben Lott, Ruby Lott and Josie Frank (set to arrive in October); nephews, Seth (Alex) Bennett and Sam Bennett and niece, Sally Bennett.
Visitation will be at 1:00 pm Sunday, August 28, 2022 at Grand Avenue United Methodist Church, 803 South Grand Avenue, Stuttgart, Arkansas with funeral services following at 2:00 pm. Burial will be at Lone Tree Cemetery immediately following the service.

Susie and I grew up together and were roommates at the UofA. We have stayed in touch until about a year ago. I loved her so much and consider her one of my best lifetime friends. Sorry that we have lost her on earth, but will see her again in heaven. My condolences to her precious family. She adored you all!
