Mary Jane Payne, 84, of Clinton was born on March 6, 1938 to the late Dueal and Stella (Bassham) Battles and passed from this life on August 23, 2022 in Conway, Arkansas.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Gearl Payne; three brothers and one sister.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Vicki Hargett and husband, Dale of Clinton, Don Gardner and wife, Sandra of Mount Vernon, Kathy Ecali and husband, Dominick of Arizona, Kenneth Payne and wife, Cricket of Quitman; thirteen grandchildren; twenty four great grand children; thirteen great-great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Friday, August 26, 2022 at Pine Mountain Baptist Church in Bee Branch, Arkansas. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm at the church. Interment will be in Pine Mountain Cemetery.
