Wanda Ruth Cauthron, 75, of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Monday, August 22, 2022 at her home. She was born on March 4, 1947 in Paris to her parents, Bulin and Irene (Trusty) Whitecotton.
Wanda was the Valedictorian of the Paris High School class of 1965 where she held perfect attendance for her entire education, from kindergarten until graduation. She worked for over 26 years at Subiaco Federal Credit Union, retiring in 2016 as the assistant manager. She was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church and Mother's Society and the Subiaco EH Club. She was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed gardening, painting, sewing, quilting, canning and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Leroy Whitecotton.
She is survived by her husband of over 55 years, Jim Cauthron of Paris; one daughter, Joy Cauthron of Livingston, Alabama; one son, Jason Cauthron and wife, Mary of Paris and two grandchildren, Eric Cauthron and Elizabeth Cauthron both of Paris.
A rosary service will be held at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Subiaco.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at St. Benedict Catholic Church, officiated by Fr. Mark Stengel, O.S.B.. Burial will follow in St. Benedict Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be John Paul Sherrill, T.J. Cauthron, Fred Johnson, Victor Schluterman, Johnny Spellins and Roger Trusty.
Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagarstown, MD 21741.
Deepest sympathy to the family and to all who knew Wanda. Wanda was a great person. She handled my first loan and was always eager to answer my questions. Rest in peace, my friend.

Irene spoke so highly of the family and appreciated of the help she received, especially from Wanda. What a heritage! May God comfort you and give you peace.
Was so sad to hear of Wanda's passing.She has always been such a SWEET person.We rode the same bus for 10 years and she was an exceptional person even then.Prayers for all the family.

When we moved to Paris in 1964 and I started school, Wanda was to me the example to follow. I remember she had a smile for me a lowly 8th grader! As the years went on I enjoyed knowing her on the adult level and we had kids that went to school together. She indeed was a wonderful person. Our prayers of comfort.
