Cynthia Roxanne Sandefur, age 62, of Benton, Arkansas passed from this life on Tuesday, August 16th, 2022 at her home. She was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina on February 25th, 1960 to Thomas J. Case and Glenna Mauriece Wells Case Dennie.
Cyndi was a veteran of the United States Air Force where she served as a Weather Specialist. She was a member of the Highway Church of Christ in Benton. Cyndi enjoyed traveling, taking cruises and hunting for shells along the beach. She was an excellent cook. She loved all animals and her eight cats and three dogs brought her much joy. Cyndi's family and extended family were her whole world. She gave of herself unselfishly until the very end of her days just to be able to spend time with them. Her strong spirit will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, James Sandefur of Benton; her children, Joshua Sandefur and wife, Gabby of Noblesville, IN and Jason Sandefur of St. Petersburg, FL; grandchildren, Alyssa Sandefur and Jordan Sandefur; siblings, Roger Steven Case and wife, Chanetta Lee of Greenbrier, Terri Lea Jackson and husband, Joe of Benton and Philip Martin Case of Benton; step-father, Keith Dennie of Benton and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family who will also mourn her passing.
Cyndi is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas J. Case and Glenna Dennie.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, August 25th, 2022 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Steven Ford officiating. Burial will follow in Whisenant Cemetery near Snowball, Arkansas. Bearers will be Roger Case, Philip Case, Joshua Sandefur, Jason Sandefur, Drew Case and Keith Dennie.
At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, please make donations to any disabled veteran organization or to any animal shelter of your choice.
