William T. "Dub" Gatlin, 82, of Brookland passed away Monday, August 15, 2022 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. He was born in Lake City, to "Babe" and Maudie Gatlin, February 11, 1940. Dub retired from Arkla Gas as a supervisor and is a member of Brookland Church of Christ. He enjoyed traveling, gardening, bird hunting and he especially enjoyed Saturday date night.
Preceding Mr. Gatlin in death are his parents and sisters, Betty Jo Williams and Ola Mae Gatlin.
Survivors include his wife of sixty-one years, Donna Gatlin; son, Byron (Susan) Gatlin; daughter, Kerry Wagner; grandchild, Jonathan (Holland) Wagner; brother Jimmy (Raye) Gatlin and sister, Wanda (Delbert) Hathcoat.
The funeral service is graveside, Thursday, August 18, at Pine Log Cemetery, 10:00am with Jeff Heitman officiating. Pallbeares are Jonathan Wagner, Gary Williams, Ricky Hathcoat, Danny Hathcoat, Winston Brown and Curt Brown. Honorary bearers are "the guys at the coffee shop".
Visitation will be Wednesday, at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home in Jonesboro from 5:30pm - 7:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, please consider the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Hospital.

I know that Dub was a good man and loved his family and God very much I didn't get a chance to meet him but I have heard so much from his Aunt Dorris Lemons and he will truly be missed by all who came to know him and his family
