of Clinton, AR
September 9, 1956 - August 9, 2022
Boyd Randall Williams, 65, of Clinton, AR passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, after an 18 month courageous battle with lung cancer. He was born on September 9, 1956 to the late Ben and Albia (Martin) Williams.
He is survived by Latricia, his loving wife of 46 years; 3 children, Brandi Nixon (Steven), Benji Benson (Brandon) and Brandon Williams (Alycia) all of Greenbrier; 6 grandchildren, Reid, Ben Riley, Brylie, Abbie, Baylor and Bryce; his sister, Karen Kirk (Jerry) and brother, Roger Williams (Shirley); numerous nieces, nephews, friends and mother-in-law, Sue Bradford Wallace. He is also proceeded in death by his father-in-law, Kent Bradford.
Boyd grew up in Pee Dee Baptist Church where he was saved and baptized as a young boy. He has been driving trucks and shifting gears for over 50 years. He loved his family, friends, Peterbilt trucks, his daddy's "ole green" truck and spending time outside. Boyd could stand outside for hours retelling old stories, sometimes the same old familiar tales and he always needed to tell you just one more story. He had a special place in his heart for long-eared mules and was an original chuckwagon racer. He looked forward to Labor Day weekend races, camping and cooking every year.
Visitation will be Friday, August 12, 2022 from 5:00-7:00pm at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Pee Dee Cemetery Chapel.
Memorials may be made to the 20th Century Club, 4011 Maryland Avenue, Little Rock, Arkansas 72204. www.hopeawayfromhome.org

Latricia so sorry for your loss. God bless you and your family.
To the Williams family, we know you will miss Boyd. We can empathize with your loss. I must tell you that Albia's brother, Garland, was my step-father from my age of 14. His daughter, Connie (my sister & Boyd's cousin), was born almost 2 years before Boyd. From the time he was born, she was enamored with the baby named Boyd even though they very rarely saw each other. She received a baby boy doll--probably for her 2nd birthday or Christmas and promptly named him "Boyd." She had that doll for many years and he was an important part of our family all that time. Even though we didn't get to Arkansas real often, you can see that we feel the "real Boyd" was also part of our family, too, being somewhat embodied in that doll. We love you all--Latricia, Karen, Roger and your families as we, Garland's step-children, fell in love with the Martins---In-laws, Aunts, Uncles, and cousins and have always been very proud to have been part of your family. So sorry for the loss of your loved one. As a "cousin," I wish I had known him better.
We are very sorry. So glad y’all came to church
I was privileged to have the both of you enter the doors of Carti and walk this last stretch out with Boyd. And everyone is right about him. He was comical and full of good stories, even when he wasn't feeling good. Such a warm hearted guy. What the world lost, Heaven certainly gained. Latricia, be proud. You did your best and there is a special blessing on its way, with your name on it!
Latricia and family,
Thoughts and prayers are with you all. May God give you peace and comfort during this difficult time.

Latricia I am so sorry for your loss. Peace be with you. Boyd was a truly good man, the best storyteller, and always made those around him smile. Our sympathy to your family.
So sorry for Boyd's battle and passing, he was a good man. Many years ago a group of us had weekend motorcycle trail rides, Boyd's was on most of them and I really enjoyed his youthful exuberance and its giving a few of us elders the courage to try a few hills that we thought was above our level of competence. He will be fondly remembered and hopefully met again in a better place. God bless his family and friends.
We are sending our support, love and prayers. Thanking the Lord that he is no longer in pain, but knowing you all are left with a hole in your heart. May your memories sustain & comfort you in the days to come.
Love you all
