February 11, 1960 - July 29, 2022
God met Cindy at the gate to Heaven's beaches, Friday evening of July 29th, 2022.
Cindy was born February 11, 1960 to Carroll and Sharon (Shane) Jones Powell. Cindy grew up in Powell Valley on G Street in Little Rock surrounded with the love of her very close family. Cindy's huge smile came from her huge heart filled with love of everyone. Cindy's faith in Christ allowed her to excel at everything she tried to do in life, the best wife, the best mom, the best grandma and the best friend. Cindy's legacy will live on through her family and friends. A LIFE WELL LIVED.
Cindy is survived by her true love of 44 years, Doug; children, Wesley and Hillary, Aaron and Sarah, and Shelly; grandchildren, Westin, Grayson, Reed and Macy; brother, Ricky Powell and Sharon Hunt Powell; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Saline County Humane Society.
We will miss Cindy always. She was an angel who could do everything, loved everyone, and went home too soon.
We love you, Doug. You are in our hearts.
Just learned of Cindy's passing. I'm so very sorry for your loss. Thoughts and prayers for your family.
We are thinking about you and praying for strength. It was a beautiful celebration of life for Cindy and I know she will be missed. That was obvious with the amount of people that filled that place. We are here for you Doug anytime, anything you need!

Cindy’s death has been so hard. I talk to her often.
She loves the beaches in heaven. Best of all, she never has to leave! She always hated the day she had to leave.
I hope you and the family are doing better. It’s a process that takes what it takes.
Love you, Tina
Doug, Jetta told me today of Cindy's passing. I was thinking today about how much my grandma adored Cindy. When we moved in I realized why. Such a kind lady. When she sent the poem my grandmother wrote in her handwriting for our first Christmas in in my grandparents' house... I'll hang that poem on the wall every year at Christmas and think of Grandma and Ms.Cindy and her kindness to me. You are in our prayers.
Praying Comfort and Peace for you and the rest of your family.
All of our love and sympathy in this hard and sad time.
Sorry for your loss.your in our thoughts and prayers
WOW the memories of Cindy & Doug & the boys from baseball games, waterparks, roller coasters to our girls only trips!! My heart was broken & then the thought of Cindy being greeted into the presence of our LORD by her parents, other loved ones & her many friends made me happy for her & sad for her loved ones left. Till we meet again my precious friend. Heaven gained another angel!!
We are so sad about Cindy’s passing, such a sweet and caring person. Our prayers go out to Doug and all the family that loved her so much as we did.
Great Lady for a Great Family
My heart is sick! You don't meet many people like Cindy Loftin! She and her awesome husband, Doug, were two of the very best! We've had such great times together! Cindy and I had more good times planned too, as I just recently retired. She and I planned to be partners in retirement together (LOL), along with our husbands, Doug and Danny. It is really hard for me to understand why it was time for Cindy to go to Heaven. I am just so very thankful to have been a part of her life! What an amazing person! I only dreamed of having her energy and talent. God gives us Angels, and in this case, he took her way to soon. I love her so much!
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. We are very sorry for your loss; stay strong in your faith.
We are blessed to have known Cindy. She was a thoughtful and loving friend and a very special lady. Our prayers are with her beautiful family.
Our sincere condolences to the Loftin Family. Jetta Hickman and Ray Nugent
Doug,
So sorry to hear of Cindy's passing. Always enjoyed running into her "strolling" the dog when I was out jogging the neighborhood. Always appreciated you both as neighbors, willing to help out wherever needed.
Thankful for all the family you have around you and for faith. In the midst of grief you have the hope only Christ can provide.
Cindy was a true and loyal friend, as life’s journey took us in different direction our friendship remained steadfast. I am forever grateful to call her my friend and treasure the memories I have with her. May God comfort us all as we mourn our SPECIAL CINDY!
