Leslie Green, 75, of Moro, Arkansas passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 27, 2022 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born January 22, 1947 to Clyde Green and Ruth Goad Green in Memphis, Tennessee.
He is survived by his wife, Grace Green of the home; two daughters, Stacy Hill (Charles) of Moro, Arkansas and Tonya Howard (Gary) of Rosebud, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Kayla Wolfe, Kylah Wolfe, Lauryn Hill and Ryan Hill; one great-grandchild, Erin Cravens; one brother, Sammy Green of Marianna, Arkansas; two sisters, Velma Smith (Elmer) of West Helena, Arkansas and Katie Green of Marvell, Arkansas; his puppy dog, Chloe and several nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Leslie Green Jr.; one granddaughter, Kenlee Wolfe; two brothers, James and Billy Green and one sister, Thelma Poole.
Mr. Green served his country in The United States Marines. He loved fishing, cooking and knitting hats for the children at St. Jude's Hospital.
Graveside services will be held Monday, August 1, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at Marianna Memorial Park in Marianna, Arkansas. I feel blessed that I met Leslie and his family. They have meant so much and I always knew I had a friend. He will be truly missed.
