Ashley Ingram

December 29, 1993 - July 27, 2022

Ashley Roy Ingram was born on December 29th, 1993 in North Little Rock, Arkansas. As a child she displayed a strong will and tenacious spirit that made a lasting impression on all who knew her. She was never afraid to stand up for the truth. Her kindness knew no limits and she was a constant inspiration to all who knew her.

Ashley graduated from Cabot High School in 2013, then enrolled in University of Arkansas Little Rock, where she earned a degree in elementary education. While in college, she displayed hard work and determination, working multiple jobs to put herself through school and graduating with a 4.0 GPA. In the fall of 2017, she began her career as a teacher, most recently teaching 2nd grade at Angie Grant Elementary in Benton. In addition to her career as an educator, she was a member of the Junior Auxiliary of Saline County. Though she planned to spend a year away from teaching to raise her newborn son, she had aspirations to continue her own education in the field of speech and dyslexia therapy.

Ashley married the love of her life, Ross Alden Ingram, on October 1st, 2017, after having known one another for twelve years and spending nine of those years in a committed relationship. They welcomed their firstborn son, Weston Owen Ingram, on July 17th, 2019. This year on July 21st their second son, Cooper Shaw Ingram was born. Ashley was a loyal, supportive and caring wife and a nurturing and affectionate mother. She always held the safety and security of her family as her highest priority.

Ashley also had a deeply personal relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In her youth, she attended worship services at First Baptist Church in Cabot. Her Godly works included two mission trips to Guatemala and volunteer work with Vacation Bible Schools. She would remain strong in her faith for the rest of her life. Ashley was truly clay in the Father's hands.

Ashley left this world to be with her Heavenly Father on July 27th. In addition to her husband and sons, she is survived by her parents, Alan and Beverly Roy; her step-grandmother, Linda Roy and siblings, Wade, Amy, Cody and Terry Roy. She also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and dearly loved friends. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lewis and Jane Martin; her paternal grandparents, Duane Roy and Loretta McFall, as well as her sister, Rebecca Roy.

A visitation will be held at Northside Church of Christ in Benton, AR on Saturday, July 30th from 2-3PM. A celebration of life service will immediately follow at the same location. A livestream of the service will be available for viewing at https://www.northsidecofc.info The family would like to express their gratitude to their family and friends for their generosity, sympathy and prayers during this difficult time in all of our lives. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Anyone who wishes to assist the family directly, may make a donation to their GoFundMe page at https://gofund.me/c28a392a

I have been praying for Ashley’s family and friends. I will continue to pray for strength through these tough times and that you all may find peace and comfort in the beautiful memories you have with Ashley. I knew Ashley from when she did her student teaching at my school. She was very special, loved the students and was eager to learn. I have loved following her professional journey and watching her family grow on Facebook. She blessed so many lives. I’m so so sorry for your loss. You have an amazing angel in heaven that will faithfully watch over you all forever. Sincerely, Lisa Byrum

My son, Troy, had Ashley as his 2nd grade teacher. He was unsure of attending school due to the new covid protocols that year. He was scared. She was such a calming, graceful person. She comforted him and the other students. They all felt safe with her. She worked so hard for her students that were in person and virtual that year. When our family got covid, she supported us in watever way she could. He thrived under her guidance.
I also had the honor of teaching with her at Angie Grant. She was a wonderful friend and the type of coworker everyone enjoyed working with. Her demeanor was always polite and professional.
I cannot fathom the grief your family is going through. I am so very sorry for your loss. She was such a wonderful person and I know you will all miss her so much. We are praying for all of you to find comfort and peace.

Please accept my deepest sympathies and sincere condolences on your loss. I was fortunate to work with Ashley at Angie Grant. She was one of the kindest and most gifted teachers I’ve had the privilege to know. It was obvious how much she loved her students, both to me and to them. We will all miss her terribly. I will be keeping you all in my prayers.

We met Ashley at Angie Grant's open house in August 2021. Our great granddaughter, Adilyn Mead, was a new student there in the 2nd grade. We will forever be grateful that Ashley was her teacher and dyslexia interventionist. She made an impact on Adilyn's life that will never be forgotten. We absolutely loved her! Our hearts break for Ross, Weston, Cooper, other family members and friends. God bless and comfort you all at this time.

I had the privilege of working closely with Ashley. We were both a part of the second grade team at Angie Grant. She was such a caring, devoted person and a great teacher. Her students loved her. Ashley got along with everyone and was always willing to offer a helping hand where needed. All of those who knew her were truly blessed. She will be greatly missed. Love and prayers for Ross, Westin, Cooper and the whole family.

She never knew me, I never knew her. But through the power of the Holy Spirit I prayed earnestly for her life. And someday we will meet! What I do not understand now, will be revealed, as the unification of the Holy Spirit comes together in our Heavenly home.
