Elton Eugene Judd, age 84, of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Friday, July 22nd, 2022 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas. He was born in Imo, Arkansas on June 28th, 1938 to Little John Judd and Willodean Virginia Bohannon Judd.
Elton was ordained as a Baptist Minister in 1968. He was the Pastor of Redfield Missionary Baptist Church in Redfield, Arkansas until 2014. He worked at various locations as a meat cutter for close to forty years. He then became a manager at Wal-mart and worked for 20 years until his retirement. He served in the Army National Guard for 2 years. Elton was a people person and loved to share his faith with others. Visiting with family, friends and neighbors brought him much joy.
Survivors include his wife, Anita McBride Judd; children, Gregg Judd and wife, Pam of Fayetteville and Corinna Judd and husband, Wayne of Marshall; his grandchildren, Rhyan Judd and wife, Misty of Fayetteville, Tyler Judd of San Francisco, CA, Marcus Judd of Fayetteville, Matthew Hudson and wife, Huanter of Marshall, A.J. Hudson of Waldron, Hunter Hudson and wife, Cierra of Cotter and Katie Judd of Marshall; great-grandchildren, Barbara, Silas, Dexter and Foxx; siblings, Jeraldine Mason and husband, Don of Panama City, FL and Jhonnie Sue Blaty and husband, Mark of Van Buren; special niece, Leah Blaty of Alabama and numerous extended family, who will also mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Elton will be 2:00 PM Thursday, July 28th, 2022 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Roy Ragland officiating. Burial will be in Chinquapin Cemetery near Welcome Home, Arkansas. Bearers will be Rhyan Judd, Marcus Judd, Matthew Hudson, A.J. Hudson, Hunter Hudson and Wayne Judd. Honorary bearers will be Tyler Judd and Mark Blaty.

We are so sorry for your loss! When we were growing up, grandpa had nicknames for all of us. His nickname was Bub, and grandpa called me Sis, so that’s what we called each other!

Corinna and family, we are so sorry for the loss of Elton. He was a wonderful friend and I am so thankful that I got to know him really well while working with him at the Arkadelphia Walmart. We enjoyed many talks about growing up on the mountain. He was a joy to be around. Praying for you and all of your family. Love you all!
