Charles E Walls, age 82, of Lexa, Arkansas passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022. He was born on Monday, April 29, 1940 to the late Jake Walls and Beatrice Young Walls in Rondo, Arkansas. Charles was a member of the West Helena Baptist Church and the American Legion. He was in the 101st Airborn Paratroopers. Charles enjoyed building furniture and cabinets.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Ann Walls; one son, Mike Ingram of West Helena, Arkansas; two daughters, Tina Forman (Eddie) and Terry Davis (Bill); two grandchildren, Jessica Martin ( Alec) and Krystal Wheeler; two great-grandchildren, Brookelynn Williams and Ellie Mae Moneymaker; one sister, Shirley Wooten of Poplar Grove, Arkansas.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Jake Walls Jr.; two sisters, Irma Holloway and Maxine Walls.
A funeral service for Charles E. Walls will held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 22, 2022 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, Chapel in West Helena, Arkansas. A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, Chapel. Brother Tim Gabbard will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Laxston, Tony Grantham, Paul Bolden, Ronny Pryor, Clay Pryor, and Bobby Jones.
Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Sullivan, Alfred Sullivan, and Dr. Thomas Bailey.

remember when I got to really know Charlie was when I was carrying motors for him to overhaul. My heart hurts for you. But you are a strong women. Do as I do, put a smile on your face and leave your tears on your pillow! love you!
Dear Ann, Howard and I were out of town and did not hear of Charles passing until Wednesday. Charles was such a very special person and Howard will certainly miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.

Uncle Charles was the best man at our wedding and the best man we’ve ever known. He leaves a beautiful legacy of a well lived life. Charles was a wonderful person and he will be missed by all who loved him.

Ann, I am so sorry about Charles. Lee and I got acquainted with him when he worked next door to our cleaning plant. He and Lee would visit from the back doors of their buildings and we both were so fond of Charles - like everyone was. Praying for you and your family.

Mr. Charlie, I will always remember the motorcycle rides and the good times we had. Betty will remember your kindness the time you let her ride on your motorcycle home because I rode my V-Max no backrest and a narrow seat, she had rode as far as she could go. Mrs. Ann and family, was so sorry to hear about Mr. Charles. He was a wonderful person and a wonderful friend to our family, both of you. My granddaughter still has the table he made for her for me to give her for Christmas when she was small. He did it on short notice for me but got it done and it's still her favorite thing from growing up. I now this is a very difficult time and we are praying for all of you.
