Mary Etta Kennemur

of Bryant, AR

December 2, 1931 - July 15, 2022

Mary Etta Kennemur, age 90, of Bryant, Arkansas passed away on July 15, 2022 peacefully in her home.

Mary was a loving and devoted sister, friend, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Mary was born to Eddie and Leora Dickson on December 2, 1931. As a very young girl, she met the boy that would become her husband of fifty-eight years, William Kennemur. They were married on February 22, 1947 and they gave birth to their three beautiful daughters, Donna, Shirley and Cindy. Family was the most important thing to her. Some of her happiest moments were spent creating fabulous meals for her large family at major holiday events.

Mary Etta was one of the kindest and most loving women, who was always present to lend an ear to anyone who needed advice. Her happy and positive spirit made everyone at ease in her presence. Her doors were always open, and she was never too busy to help anyone in any manner she could. She didn't just mother her family, she mothered anyone she loved.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her oldest daughter; three brothers and one sister. She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Barnard and Cindy Baker; ten grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Her visitation will be on Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 6-8 pm at Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home. Her graveside service will be on Friday, July 22, 2022 at 11 am at Forest Hills Cemetery.
