Susan Paulette Clendening went to be with her Lord July 9th, 2022 at her home in Little Rock, Arkansas at the age of 71.
She was born August 7th, 1950. She was the daughter to William 'Billy' Young and Frances Young-Brimer and the wife to Joseph Clendening for 44 years. Susan was the anchor to her family and her faith in Jesus was very outspoken. She enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids for Sunday dinners.
Susan is survived by two siblings, Vickie (Ronnie) Pendley of North Little Rock and Pamela (Homer) Surrett of Little Rock; her children, Eva Lucas of Cabot, Rhonda (Eddy) Williams of Hensley, Andrew Clendening (Ashley) of Little Rock and Joseph Clendening III of Little Rock; 14 grandkids and 7 great grandkids and many nieces and nephews who loved her greatly. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, sister and two brothers.
Visitation will take place Friday, July 15th, 2022 at 10:00 am, with the funeral services to follow at 11:00 am at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock. Pastor Tracy Shelton will officiate. Graveside services will be at Hamilton Cemetery located in Carlisle, Arkansas. Flowers and condolences may be offered at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home.

we moved away from each other I lost track
of her. Have thought about her often in the

Susie was definitely one of a kind! She didn't hesitate to say what she thought- even if you didn't ask. I loved her and loved to tease her about all the many things I learned from her over the years. She was a special person and will definitely be missed.
