L.D. Horn, 93, of North Little Rock passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2022. He was born on January 9, 1929 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to the late Euell and Dorothy Horn.
L.D. attended the University of Arkansas and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Pharmacy. He was the former president of the Arkansas Pharmacist Association. For 5 years, L.D. also served as secretary of the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy.
He is survived by his son, Mike Horn; daughters, Diane James (Jimmie) and Leslie Horn; grandchildren, David James (Melody), Beth James (Jill), Holly and Ashley Joseph.
L.D. is preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Horn; and second wife, Lola Horn; brothers, Billy E. and Dawson Horn and sister, Louise Kallenin.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 11, at Roller-Owens Funeral Home in North Little Rock beginning at 10:30 A.M. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 9:30 A.M. A graveside service will follow at Edgewood Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Arkansas Children's Hospital, in L.D.'s honor.

L.D. was a friend of my parents, Woody and Kathryn Bauman Butler, from the Baring Cross neighborhood along Pike Ave in North Little Rock. They eventually ended up two houses down from each other on Locust Street in NLR. I use to see him when I visited my parents. He was a true Gentle Soul. He will be missed.
