Robert (Wooty) Lee Wootan, age 31, passed away on June 8, 2022, at home in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The son of Jerry and Lillie (Burk) Wootan was born in Berryville, Arkansas, on December 8, 1990.
"Wooty" was a member and baptized, in Batavia Baptist Church, at the age of 10. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. Robert loved people and never met a stranger and did not mind helping people. Wooty loved animals from a very young age and loved being in the outdoors, hiking, and watching animals. He always had a smile. He was finishing a semester in college so that he could graduate with a business accounting degree. He had already accomplished going to school to receive a degree from the Tulsa Welding School.
Robert (Wooty) is preceded in death by his grandfather, Bobby Burk, Sr., and grandmother, Mary Wootan.
Robert is survived by his parents, Jerry Wootan and Lillie Wootan of Harrison, Arkansas; grandfather, Clyde Wootan of Harrison, Arkansas; grandmother, Judy Burk and a host of family and friends. He will be missed greatly.
Graveside service was on June 18, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Dunkard Cemetery with Kerry Liggett officiating.
Pallbearers were Matt Shearer, Jessie McElroy, Mickael Burk, AJ Nicholson, Gage Burk, and CJ Andrews.
