Gearldine Murphy, age 83, of Blytheville, AR passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Manila Nursing Center. She was born in Little River, AR to William and Violet Stepps on November 6, 1938. Gearldine retired from American Greetings and was a member of Clearlake Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in the yard and doing crossword puzzles. She is survived by her son, James Danny Murphy; daughters; Sandra (Mike) Smith and Karon (John) Hall; grandchildren, Justin (Ashley) Smith, Murphy Smith, Morgan (Dalton) Smith Taylor, Corbin Smith, Audrey (Ken) Luff; great grandchildren, Steele Smith, Hawkins Smith, Fletcher Smith, Hudson Taylor, Whitleigh Luff, Layne Luff; sisters, Betty Wayman, Charlene Adams, Alice McGregor, Brenda White; brothers, Ray Stepps and J.D. Stepps. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James Murphy. Visitation will be held at Roller-Swift Funeral Home, Tuesday, June 14, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm with the funeral to follow at 1:00 pm. Entombment will be at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens.

Danny, Sandra and Karon, Aunt Geraldine will be missed but is no longer in pain. I’m so glad my mom and dad were able to see and visit with her last month.
