Bulin Leroy Whitecotton, 83, a resident of Clarksville, formerly of Paris, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2022 at his home.
He was born March 19, 1939 in Paris to the late Bulin Odale and Irene (Trusty) Whitecotton. Mr. Whitecotton served in the United States Army National Guard. He spent his working years as a farmer, truck driver and then retired from Cloyes Gear after 28 years of service. Mr. Whitecotton was a member of Dublin Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Ruth Whitecotton of Clarksville; a daughter, Rhonda Johnson of Batesville; a granddaughter, Heather Nehus-Beauford of Mountainburg; a great granddaughter, Hadley Beauford of Mountainburg and a sister, Wanda Cauthron of Paris.
Visitation will be held at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Dublin Freewill Baptist Church near Scranton, with Rev. Shane Kasper officiating. Burial will be at Howard Cemetery near Subiaco, under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
Pallbearers will be Joe Turner, Neal Green, Ken Grace, John Paul Sherrill, Roger Trusty and Bruce Bryan. Honorary pallbearers will be Cliff Sims, Gerald Sims, James Jaggers, Todd Dobbins, James Racine, Bill Allen, Dean Teague, Greg Bussard and Richard Bridgeland.
Ruth I enjoyed seeing you and Bulin at Dr Marshalls office. I used to keep an eye on him while yoi saw Doc. I love you and I am thinking if you.
Miss Ruth, sending all my love and prayers your way as you embark on this next journey in life. It was my honor and pleasure to help with the care of Leroy during his last days. Always here if you need me. Big big hugs
