Ernest ''Ernie'' I. Ward, 59 of Lamar, Arkansas passed away Monday, May 30, 2022 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Ernie was born October 15, 1962 in Centralia, WA to Dennis & Ruby Drittler Ward. Ernie was a Diesel Mechanic for Tyson foods. He started at Tyson's in 1983. He enjoyed Hot Rods, Ratfink, BBQ, Fishing and Big Foot. His love was his family and friends. Ernie was a wonderful man who was loved by his family, friends, coworkers and community.
Ernie is preceded in death by his father, Dennis Ward and one brother, William Ward.
Mr. Ward is survived by his wife of 39 years, Tammy (Grissom) Ward; five children, Sean Ward, Dylan Ward, Eric Ward, Kayden Ward and Kayleigh Ward; one grandson, Braden Hatchett; mother, Ruby Taylor; one sister, Sherry Choate and other friends and family.
A visitation is scheduled for Friday, June 3, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
