Joanne Bernice Baker, 80, of Clarksville, Arkansas passed away Sunday, May 29, 2022 in Little Rock, Arkansas with her loved ones by her side. Joanne was born, April 4, 1942 in Tulare, California to Sylvester Woodrow & Bertha Lenora (Berry) Carlile. Joanne was a Teacher's Aide for many years and she worked as an Inspector, Quality Control for Techni-Cast in South Gate, California. She enjoyed Antiques, gardening, crafts and time with her family, especially time with her puppy Layla.
Joanne is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Seth John Baker; and two brothers, Jerry Carlile and Herman Carlile.
She is survived by one daughter, Lenora 'Suzy' (George) Gilman of Long Beach, California; one son, Stephen Baker of Clarksville, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Christopher (Jessica) Gilman of California, Kyle Gilman of Irving, Texas, Leah (Chris) Cowell of Arizona and Lacy Baker of Clarksville, Arkansas; four great-grandchildren, Carter Cowell, Jaide Cowell, Kinsley Baker and Brodie Baker; one sister, Norma Mullins of Safford, Arizona and other friends and family.
