Fred Hatcher, 64, of Paris, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2022 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas with his loved ones by his side.
Fred was born July 1, 1957 in Louisiana to his parents, Fred Hatcher, Senior and Doris (Russell) Hatcher. He was employed by Energy Transfer Partners where he held the position of Measurement Tech A. Fred was the President of the Paris Eagle Quarterback club and enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, cooking and spending time with the family. He was a very conservative, caring, loving and patriotic family man. He especially loved the holidays, especially Thanksgiving, he would deep fry three whole turkeys, he was a man who made sure things were taken care of and that there was always plenty.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred Hatcher, Senior and Doris (Russell) Hatcher and one step-daughter, Evangeline Bradley.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Roxanne (Swarthout) Hatcher of Van Buren; two sons, Jesse Hatcher and wife, Kayla of Van Buren and Cory Hatcher and wife, Beth of Springdale; one daughter, Angela Harmon and husband, Jeremy of Rogers; two brothers, Darryl Hatcher of Texas and Gary Hatcher of Rudy, Arkansas; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Bill VanMeter. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery
Funeral service and arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Jessee Hatcher, Cory Hatcher, Brandon Bradley, Noah Bradley, Jeremy Harmon and Tyler Garrett.
I am shocked and saddened to learn of Fred's passing. My memories of Fred is when we both were much younger. He was always a good guy and became a really good man. God's peace to all of us that he left behind. Amein.
