Roger Leo Franks, 64, of Bassett, passed away in Jonesboro on Tuesday, May 10, 2022. He was born in Flint, MI, on August 11, 1957 to Leo and Marcia Joan Franks. He was a graduate of Rivercrest High School and obtained two certifications in HVAC from Delta Technical College in Marked Tree. Roger enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching sports and spending time with family. He is survived by his daughters, April Franks and Bethany Franks-Mitchell; grandchildren, Shania Franks, Mariah (Ronald) Robinson, Jailyn Franks, Jamyka Franks, Logan Mitchell, Madison "Max" Mitchell, Annabella Mitchell; great-grandchild, Jaleen Tyler Young Jr.; sisters, Eva Morris, Phyllis Gammill; niece, Monica Morris; nephew, Bradley (Liz) Morris and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jimmy Don Franks, Tommy Joe Franks, and Jeffrey Lynn Franks. A visitation will be held at Roller-Swift Funeral Home in Osceola on Friday, May 13, 2022, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Everytime I was in the presence of Roger he was the life of the occasion. Very humorous, always positive and happy. I'm so glad I got to meet him. May the memories of him live forever in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him.
