On April 21st, 2022 Mallory Harwell Jones, 75, took to his heavenly home, after a brief but valiant battle with cancer.
Mallory was born to Richard Carl and Irene Parish Jones on June 7, 1946, in Osceola, AR. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Richard "RC" Jones and George Arthur Jones.
Mallory sold insurance for 25 years and in the '80s, he also owned a clothing store in downtown Osceola. He then went on to own and operate furniture stores during his thirty years in Hattiesburg, MS. A natural-born salesman, he was full to the brim with an inexhaustible catalogue of quips, jokes, and movie quotes. Mallory professed his faith at an early age and was an active member of Main St. Baptist Church in Hattiesburg, MS. He was proud to be "Your Pal Mal" and always aimed to be the most dapper man in the room.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Sheri Jones Adams of Osceola, AR and Marsha Jones of Cordova, TN; their mother Nancy J. Smith of Marked Tree, AR; his sisters, Eloise Phifer, Memphis, TN, Shella Fahey Waldman, Auburn, CA, Joyce Demers, Lincoln, RI, his three grandsons and their wives, Silas & Tara Adams, Osceola, AR, Ethan & Bailee Adams; Keiser, AR Elijah Adams of Sandridge, AR; his son-in-law Eddie Adams of Sandridge, AR; his great-granddaughter, Noah Kate Adams of Keiser, AR; and innumerable friends and family.
A celebration of life will be held at Roller Swift Funeral Home in Osceola, AR. Visitation is from 12-2 PM and the Funeral Services follow at 2 PM on Wednesday, April 27th, 2022. Pallbearers include Ron Duncan, David Herriman, Edward Adams Jr., Silas Adams, Ethan Adams, Elijah Adams, and honorary pallbearers Jimmy Johnson and Chad McDonald.

Mal will forever be the best dressed man in the room and with the biggest heart to go right along with it. We will miss you Mal and look forward to seeing you when we get up there to join you.
