Ricky Dale Roper, 70, of Clarksville, died Thursday, April 21, 2022, in Russellville. He was born July 29, 1951, in Paris, to James ''Budge'' and Velma Mattie Roper.
Ricky was devoted to his family. He worked eighteen years at the Clarksville Walmart Distribution Center and was a member of the Twin Oaks Baptist Church.
Ricky is survived by two sons, Heath Roper and wife Fantazia of Russellville and Ryan Roper and wife Chrissy of Harrah, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Blaine Colwell, Jakob Roper, Rachel Roper, Hope Roper, Hannah Roper, Henry Roper, and Benjamin Roper; two sisters, Doris Gray of Haberall, Massachusetts, and Lorene Boland of Scranton; two brothers, Jerry Roper of Clarksville and Gary Roper of Mountainburg; and numerous other family and friends.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Dublin Freewill Baptist Church in Scranton.
Memorial contributions may be made to Helping Our Kids. Inc. in Scranton.

I’m so sad about the passing of my Uncle Ricky! I praise God he was saved, and is now whole, healed, healthy, and no longer in pain and he’s in the arms of Jesus. I will see him again some day, and I pray others will come to know Jesus and accept him as their Lord and Savior so they can see him again as well. Praying for all who loved and knew him.
