June 13, 1945 - April 12, 2022
Kay Lynnette (Bass) Farmer, 76, of Alexander, went to her heavenly home on April 12, 2022. She was born June 13, 1945 in Marvell, AR to Herbert and Betty (Lynch) Bass. Kay loved her family dearly and enjoyed cooking and gardening.
Kay was a faithful person who loved the Lord. She was a long-time member of the Shepherd's Chapel Church. There was always a place in her heart for the disadvantaged and wayward soul. She exhibited a kindness and love that extended far beyond family.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 57 years, Jerry O. Farmer, daughter Jill Tate (Roger) of Alexander, son Jonathan Farmer of North Little Rock; two granddaughters, Melanie Wilder (Matthew) and Marissa Tate; three great grandchildren, Gage, Gavin and Ella Wilder; as well as nieces, nephews, in-laws and a host of cousins, all who loved her immensely.
She is preceded in death by both parents and a brother, Homer Richard Bass.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service for Kay on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm followed by the Memorial Service at 2:00 pm.
