Floyd Wynn Jr., age 91 of Big Flat, Arkansas went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 3rd, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Big Flat, Arkansas on July 14th, 1930 to Floyd Wynn Sr. and Dorise Covey Wynn.
Floyd was a lifelong resident of Big Flat. He graduated from Big Flat High School in 1947. As a young man out of high school he worked in the drywall business and in the early 70's he and his wife, Shirley opened Wynn's Feed Store. He owned and operated poultry houses and was a cattle farmer. In 1979 Floyd opened Junction Liquor. After retirement he still enjoyed working on his farms. Floyd was a member and faithfully attended Big Flat Assembly of God Church. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include his daughters, Tammy (Kenny) Green of Mountain View and Sandi (Eddie) White of Big Flat; grandchildren, Jason (Nikki) Wynn of Dallas, TX, Niki Green of Mountain View, Cassius "Cash" (Sara) White of Brookland and Toni (Colton) Hutchins of Big Flat; two great-grandsons, Brennan Parsons and Baylor Hutchins, both of Big Flat; sister, Ernestine Wynn Balentine of Big Flat; and many extended family and friends who will mourn his passing.
Floyd is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Dorise Wynn; son, Tony Wynn; adopted daughter, Judy Breshears; sister, Thelma Wynn Hanson; and dear friend, Shirley Wynn Trammell.
Graveside services for Floyd will be 2:00 PM Thursday, April 7th, 2022 at Big Flat Cemetery with Bro. Carl Wayne Chadwick officiating. Special music will be performed by the Chadwick family, Carl Wayne, Connie and Taylor. Pallbearers will be Eddie White, Kenny Green, Cassius White, Colton Hutchins, Cole White and Jeff McCoy. Honorary pallbearers will be great-grandson, Brennan Parsons who has helped care for Floyd the last six months.
