Laura Ann Thompson, 78 of Bryant, Arkansas passed away on March 12, 2022, in Bryant. Laura was born in Sardis, Arkansas to Joe and Gladys Bell on October 18, 1943. She married Herman Thompson on January 24, 1969, and was married for 53 years. Laura worked as an Accounting Secretary for AEGON Insurance Agency and retired after working for more than 20 years. Laura was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren play the sports they loved. She was an avid sports fan, especially Arkansas Razorback basketball.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Joe Bell, three sisters, Marilyn Gaylor, Janie Bilheimer, and Doris Sue Harrison.
She is survived by her spouse, Herman Thompson; son, Jason Thompson (Stephanie); daughter, Ashley Parker (Jimmy); three grandchildren, Korey Thompson, Madalynn Thompson, and Brooklynn Parker; a special great niece, Ryan Jude Smith, and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her baby sister, and best friend, Judy Smith.
The family would like to give a special "thank you" to Arkansas Hospice.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home from 5-7 PM. Funeral Services are to be held Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.

I remember Miss Laura from Bryant Ball park years ago she loved watching her grandkids play sport but I think she got a kick out of watching Jason and Jimmy coaching. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.
