Amanda, I’m very sorry to hear of Your mother’s passing. I have wonderful memories of Sherry when we were kids and as young adults. She will be missed by all.
Sherry and I had known each other from high school and in 1978 her and Ronnie came looking for a hone need to buy. The realtor had brought them here because I had a new house too and it had the same floor plan is theirs. Needless to say 1979 they were living next door to me and live there all the way up until a little bit after Ronnie passed away and Sherry got sick. I was there with Ron and Sherry when Amanda was born. Ronnie and I looked at her together through the window she was beautiful. I even babysit Amanda when Sherry had to go back to work. Over the years we've had our up and downs heartaches and so forth but never got angry at each other and never said anything hateful or hard to each other. Sherry and I have remained friends and we talked on the phone often. It was about 2 weeks ago but she was telling me that she was having more problems with her legs. She just found out I had pneumonia. We plan to come see her this month because she had moved back to Louisiana but she said a couple of her friends were coming down and getting her and bringing her back to Arkansas for his visit I'm so sorry that never happened. I we'll miss my dear friend we'll see her again someday. No more pain and no suffering.
Earliest childhood memories include Sherry and her brother Butch. Our mothers were sisters, and, although we didn’t live near, our families were close. I’ll miss her phone calls. I pray God’s comfort and peace to Amanda and her family, and Butch and his family.
So sorry for your loss. We all love Miss Sherry very much
