Dollie Edith Sawrie Edgman, 95, of Greenbrier, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. Born in Greenbrier, AR on June 2, 1926, she was a daughter to the late Johnnie Preston Sawrie and Mattie Earnhart Sawrie Freeman.
Dollie had been employed by International Shoe, SAS Shoe, Kirkwood Industries and retired from Kimberly Clark Corp. She loved being outdoors in her vegetable and flower gardens and watching them grow. She enjoyed anything connected to fabrics, sewing and needlework having made quilts, counted cross stitch wall hangings, crocheted blankets and clothing for her family and many friends. Most of all she loved to be at family gatherings and seeing all the grandbabies. She was a founding member of Faith Baptist Church in Greenbrier, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul Seth Edgman; her siblings: Ethel Fulmer, Vernon Sawrie, and Virgil Sawrie; great-grandson, Holden Brandon and son in law Lynn Carter.
Those remaining to cherish her memory are: son, Tom Edgman and wife Leona of Conway, daughters: Paulette Carter of Greenbrier and Penny Rubow and husband Robert of Conway; five grandchildren: Kimberly Odom (David), John Carter (Janice), Tracy Coney (Larry), Jill Myers (Danny) and Alison Brandon (Mark), nine great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
The family sends special thanks to the staff at Greenbrier Nursing and Rehabilitation for the love and excellent care given to their Maw Maw.
The funeral service will be on Monday, March 14, at 3:00 pm in the Roller McNutt Chapel, in Greenbrier. Bro. Ken Gipson will be officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Edgman will be in state from 3pm to 8pm Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at East Shady Grove Cemetery in Greenbrier. Pallbearers are John Carter, David Odom, Larry Coney, Danny Myers, Mark Brandon and Jackson Carter. Honorary pallbearers are Brady Myers, Larson Coney, Brittany Carter, Layton Coney, Kenzie Myers, Isabella Carter, Mason Brandon, Easton Brandon, Curtis Sawrie, and Byron Sawrie.

We are sorry for your loss! We loved Ms. Edith and loved being around her. Went to Church with her for years and she always had a smile and kind word for everyone! She will be Greatly missed but are rejoicing for her as she entered her Heavenly Home!
