Dorthy A. Mayville, age 75, passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022 at her home in Helena, Arkansas. She was born on August 7, 1946 in Gould, Arkansas to the late Lula Mae Flynn Thompson and Pat Thompson. Mrs. Dorthy loved traveling, gardening, spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Ernest Mayville; son, Earnest Mayville III (Cristi); two daughters, Cindy Donahue (Chris) and Darlene Cravens; 10 grandchildren, Brandi King (Dale), Hunter Mayville (Ashley), Zach Mayville, Kayla Coates (Kevin), Charissa Watkins (Dustin), Shane Donahue (Cassie), Joey Donahue (Felisha), JJ Sanner (Ashley), Amanda Sanner, and Sam Buckner; 16 great grandchildren, Tatum King, Kash King, Addison Mayville, Analine Mayville, Alyse Mayville, Kolton Coates, Konner Coates, Kason Coates, Kelsie Watkins, Leo Watkins, Ridge Watkins, Charleigh Donahue, Cole Donahue, Jase Donahue, Lillianne Donahue, and Roseleigh Donahue; brother, Leroy Thompson; two sisters, Margaret Wright and Judy Clark; a host of other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lula Mae and Pat Thompson; stepmother, Bertie Thompson; four brothers, George Thompson, Jesse Thompson, Don Stewart and David Stewart.
A funeral service for Mrs. Dorthy A. Mayville will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, March 4, 2022 at West Helena Baptist Church. Burial will follow to Sunset Memorial Park. Brother Johnny Jones will officiate.
Pallbearers are Hunter Mayville, Zach Mayville, Shane Donahue, Joey Donahue, Dustin Watkins, and Kevin Coates.
Honorary pallbearers are Roy Corbitt, Robert Johnson, Kyle Farkas, John Mayville, Jr., Chris Donahue, Howard Mayville, and John Mayville.

So sorry for your loss. Mrs. Dorothy was a nice woman. She was always friendly and always took care of any of her friends and family. She was known by many people in the community. Love to all her family.
