Billy Richard Shell of Searcy, AR passed away at The Crossing at Riverside on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at the age of 78. Billy was born in Letona, AR on June 30, 1943 to Harry and Juanita Shell who predeceased him. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Bradley Shell and a brother, Roger Shell.
He is survived by a sister, Betty Shell Williams (Jack) of Arizona. He is also survived by 2 nephews, 4 nieces and numerous cousins.
Billy loved cars and built so many models he had one room dedicated to just models in the home he shared with his wife.
Billy was a member of the Searcy Church of the Nazarene for over 60 years.
A graveside service will be held at the Pickens Chapel Cemetery in the Letona Community on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 2:00PM.
Billy suffered from diabetes for most of his life so In lieu of flowers, Billy's wishes were for donations to the American Diabetes Association at ARKANSAS, P O Box 7023, Merrifield, VA, 22116-7023. Website is www.ADAAR@diabetes.org with phone number 800-342-2383.
