of Little Rock, AR
August 30, 1946 - February 9, 2022
Carolyn E. Morton (Hyatt), 75, of Little Rock, went to be with the Lord February 9, 2022. She was born August 30, 1946, in McCrory, Arkansas to Charlie and Jacqueline Hyatt. Carolyn has lived in East End, Arkansas for the last 27 years. She retired as Corporal Morton from the Pulaski County Sheriff's Department after 28 years. She was a member of Bingham Road Baptist Church.
Carolyn loved life. She was always so much fun to be around. There was always some shopping to be done or probably a project of some-sort involved but it was a good time and always laughter. She loved her home, yard and her plants. She loved talking on the phone or company stopping by to see her for a visit or a quick chat. She never ran out of anything to talk about, ever. She enjoyed getting those lottery tickets and would get so tickled if she won a dollar or fifty dollars. Those trips to the Casinos were always hoot with her around. Oh, and we cannot forget about Elvis, she loved Elvis.
Her laugh, smile that little face and those beady eyes. She was loved by so many and will never be forgotten.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Jacqueline (Smith) Hyatt. She leaves behind her children and grandkids, Chris Morton of Carlisle; Shannon Porter (Randy) of East End; Amanda McGuire of Searcy; Maci Whiddon (Matt) of Vilonia; Abbi Morton of Arkadelphia; Zack Morton of Carlisle; Austin Johnson of East End; Porter Johnson of East End; Britney Smotherman of East End; and Jessie Smotherman of East End. Carolyn has two brothers Jimmy Hyatt (Ann) and Bill Hyatt and two sisters Barbara Hyatt and Pam Myers (Mark) all from Little Rock. And a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 1-3 pm, Sunday, February 13, 2022, in the chapel of Roller Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30.
