He was such a kind, kind soul! My favorite long car trips always began with a quick stop to Sanders & Son for a yummy sandwich. Rest in peace Uncle Chuck and prayers of comfort to all...
My and my sister Marie's condolences on Chuck's passing to Shane, Mary, Shannon and the rest of the Family. My sister and I loved the salads he had at the store. Enjoyed talking to him when he was able to attend Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners at Shane and Mary's house. A true Flippin resident that will be missed greatly.
Chuck was a kind man, his warm smile, good food, and meats kept people coming back. Our office was right across the street, we saw him almost daily for many years. He always treated his customers as friends, he and the store are missed by many. A life well done. Our deepest condolences to the family. Doc and Meg Simons

Our Real Estate office was across the street from Sanders and Son Grocery. Almost every day we walked across the street and Chuck greeted everyone with a smile and the best home made sandwiches around. His steaks couldn’t be beat. But best of all, Chuck made you feel welcome and happy to see you. He was a good ambassador for our town. Flippin will miss you!

Chuck was a good and kind man.
We used to kid about his "light" thumb when he was weighing meat! We mourned when he closed the store, but celebrated his opportunity to rest.
He was a good and faithful servant of the Lord and all of his customers.
Rest in peace, friend.
