Sterling will be GREATLY missed! He was always in great spirits. I know he is up in heaven giving all the pretty ladies HUGS and watching over all his girls and grandkids. He’s truly an awesome person to have met!
Don’t even know where to start about this crazy fella. I remember the first time I ever met him at the Westwood Acre ball field. He was the biggest flirt. I think he was in 7 th grade. Hen would flash those pearly whites and try to have all the. Girls over there. I remember when school started. Back and they had school pics made, he somehow made it to my house w a 5x7 for me. That smile was priceless. We remained FRIENDS through the yra, and something happened to him and he went in the hospital for. a bit. Christine knew we were friends so she let me know. I remember walking into that hospital room seeing him lying in that bed in bad Heath, but there was that smile. We talked for a good while that day about life and at the time I think we both just had one daughter. I know how much he loved his kids and grandkids, and they loved him. Once i saw him and one of his granddaughters at the grocery store, he was on a cane, there was that smile. He introduced me to his granddaughter, and when I tell you that child was taking care of her Papaw I’m serious. She helped him get around the whole works. He said see Ingot all I need right here. I can’t help but cry, thinking this guy so full of life who always made you laugh and smile will be doing this from heaven now. Sterling Clark you will forever be special to me and I’ll never forget the friendship we had through the yrs. Christine my prayers are with you and your girls through this difficult time. We hurt for our babies because we to have experienced this pain. I love yal.
Never really knew Sterling personally, but I did graduate with him in ‘82. Sorry he left us so soon. So much more life to live but he’s with our Lord now. Rest easy, Sterling!
Just thought about Sterling and Betty today. Wondered if he was feeling better. So sorry to hear this today. He was a sweetie and so polite with us nurses. He told me the last time I saw him that Canadian nurses must get a lot of training in respect and empathy cause you are the best. He is not suffering now.. just living in peace and glory. RIP Sterling… you will be missed🙌
RIL C/O 82 Praying for the family.
