Don Collins of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022, in Mountain Home at the age of 83.
He was born July 2, 1938, in Como, Texas, the son of Darra Faye and Gladys Collins. Don was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving on the USS Point Defiance from 1957 - 1961.
He was a jack of all trades and could fix just about anything. He loved the outdoors and spent much of his life operating heavy equipment. He was happiest when ''playing in the dirt'' as he called it. Don was good-natured and enjoyed visiting with friends and a good laugh.
He is survived by his two children and their spouses, Caren (Collins) Perkins of Mountain Home, and Bill Collins of Harrison, nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, brother Jack Collins, and sister Georgia Page, both of Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Tommie Collins, and sister Wanda Busby.
Private arrangements are by Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellvlile.

Don was a wonderful brother we loved him and will miss his Laughters, smiles and jokes . We know he is in a wonderful HOME no pain and with our families in Heaven.
