Bettie Marlene Reeves, age 70 of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Monday, December 27th, 2021 at NARMC in Harrison, Arkansas. She was born in Extension, Louisiana on December 29th, 1950 to Ruben Bailey and Louise Swillie Bailey.
Bettie enjoyed coloring and was an avid reader. She like gardening and enjoyed all of her plants. Her greatest love was her grandchildren. Time spent with them brought her much joy. Her presence will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include her daughters, Tanya Reeves McCain and husband Ty of Vicksburg, MS and Sherian Blough and husband Tim of Marshall; grandchildren, Haylie Thames (Bryan) of Crowville, LA, Hillary Parker of Crowville, LA, Maddie Henderson of Vicksburg, MS, Christian Johnson of Marshall, Ethan Johnson of Newport, WA, Toni Blough of Sevierville, TN and Colleen Shear of Shortsville, NY; great-grandchildren, Payton Thames, Corbin Thames, Carter Ready, Hadleigh Ready, Baylor Hitt and Marcy Johnson; siblings, Herman Bailey of Wichita Falls, TX, Dennis Bailey (Helen) of Omaha, TX, Ricky Bailey (Lisa) of Omaha, TX, Gary Bailey (Brenda) of Jena, LA, Doug Bailey (Dawn) of Jigger, LA, Janet Savoie (Marshall) of St. Martinville, LA, Nelda Adams (Gary) of Liddieville, LA, Cathy Cloud (James) of Urania, LA and Patty McAdams (John) of Atoka, OK; and many nieces, nephews and extended family who will also mourn her passing.
Bettie is preceded in death by her parents, Ruben and Louise Bailey; and siblings, Donald Bailey, Dianne Rollins and Timothy Bailey.
Memorial Visitation services for Bettie will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 28th, 2021 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas. The family would like to invite Bettie's friends to stop by and share memories.
