Ellen Glover (nee Butler), age 69, of Pleasant Valley Community (Wooster, AR), formerly of Paramus, NJ, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021. Ellen is survived by her husband of 49 years, James, their three children, Elizabeth (John) Sketoe, Alexandra (Kevin) Hillman, and James Glover, III; grandchildren, Dakota Hillman, Ethan Riba, Arisbeth Hillman, Grace Sketoe, Riley Hillman, and Lexie Sketoe; mother, Dolores Butler; and siblings, Robert (Susan) Butler, Janet (Richard) Krakowski, and David (Carol) Butler. A native of Bergen County, NJ, Ellen relocated to Arkansas in the 80s where a host of southern family and friends embraced her. Tremendously generous, she cared deeply for those dear to her; her front door was always open to those who wanted to visit and share a cup of coffee''¦or tea. She was an incredible cook, gifted artist, talented crafter, and amateur photographer. She loved old movies and musicals, had a fondness for coordinating outfits, and relished finding the perfect greeting card for every person.

Ellen,
You practically adopted me as your own. I spent just about every weekend at your house as a preteen/teen. I'll never forget the time spent at your house with you all. Thanks for loving me so well.
Miss you!
Beth and family,
There are no words...just a big tug on my heart. I love you all. I am praying for y'all. 💙
Jim, Beth, Alex, and Jimmy—
We are so sorry about Ellen. What a great addition to our family all those years ago! We will always appreciate all the little things she did for Mom & Dad; they loved her like a daughter. We have you in our prayers.
Sending so much love to you all in this tremendously difficult time.
Dear Jim, Beth, Alex and Jimmie, how wonderful it was to have another “Yankee†to work with when we first arrived in Arkansas. We appreciated her open arms and completely understood her straightforward manner. Her laugh was unforgettable. Our hearts goes out to you and your families as you grieve the loss of your wife and mother.
Best Friends... Forever!
Dear Jim, Beth, Alex, Jimmy and families,
