Ester Holt, 78, of Clarksville died Monday, December 6, 2021, in Fayetteville. She was born January 24, 1943, in Cameron County, Texas, to Conrado and Guadalupe (Martinez) Galvan. Ester was devoted to her family and enjoyed flower gardens.
She is survived by four sons, Jerry Edwards and wife Nikki, Travis Edwards and wife Theresa, Floyd Edwards, and Glenn Edwards; six daughters, Donna Watson and Bubba, Sissy Baker and Tony, Mary Eddy and Darwin, Connie Eckelhoff and Toreg, Anna Navarro, and Cynthia Edwards and husband Jimmy; one brother, Richard Galvan; five sisters, Elva Blanchard, Juanita Yearber, Berta Chadwick, Helen Hern, and Mari Galvan; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ester is preceded in death by one son, Terry Edwards, and two brothers, Danny Galvan and Nieves Galvan.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Monday, December 13, 2021, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home chapel.

I just learned today that Ester passed away. I am so sorry for everyone’s loss. She was always so kind to me. I am beyond sad. I know she was a believer in Christ and thankful for that knowledge. Jesus said “if you confess me before men, I will confess you before my father who is in heaven†so I know I’ll be able to hug her again one day. My family is praying for your family. And morning the loss of a wonderful lady.
