Lester Lloyd Rose, age 85, Flippin, Arkansas passed away Wednesday November 10, 2021 at his home.

Lester was born August 26, 1936 in Bunch, Iowa to the late Newell and Nellie Erma (Stufflebeam) Rose. He had lived in the area for the past 15 years, coming here from Iowa. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Yellville. He enjoyed woodworking; he ran his own sawmill and enjoyed building things.

Mr. Rose is survived by his son Newell Rose (Adriene) of Austin, Texas; his stepson Gary Sopher (Mary Jane) of Iowa City, Iowa; daughters: Julie Wagoner (Robert) of Van Wert, Ohio; Connie Hastad (Paul) of Flippin, Arkansas; Kittie Lou Barber of Corning, Iowa; stepdaughters: Marilyn ''Micki'' Scott (Tim) of Bartlett, Texas; Audrea Cherie Sopher of Waco, Texas; sisters: Violet Dunlavy of Belnap, Iowa; Velma Teyke of Rollins, Iowa; Velda Frette of Story City, Iowa; and several grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
