Holden Matlock, 23, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021. He was born June 23, 1998 in Mountain Home to Mark and Tracy (Rose) Matlock. He graduated Mountain Home High School in 2016, grew up attending First Baptist Church of Mountain Home and Christ Community Church of Mountain Home, and enjoyed music, hiking, traveling, sports, and being outside.
Holden is survived by his parents of Mountain Home; 2 daughters: Ivory and Iris Matlock of Mountain Home; 3 brothers: Evan, Cannon, and Sutton Matlock of Mountain Home; paternal grandparents: Nancy and Stueart Matlock of Benton, Arkansas; maternal grandparents: Jim and Teresa Anderson of Cotter, Arkansas; uncle: Andy Matlock of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and several great-aunts, great uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather: David Rose, and all of his great-grandparents.
A visitation will be held between 6-8:00pm on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Christ Community Church in Mountain Home. A memorial service will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Christ Community Church.

Holden, thank you for being one of the few people in High School who allowed me to be unapologetically myself. We had plenty of deep conversations and always had fun together.
