Larry Dean Chaney, age 71, passed away Friday October 29, 2021 at his home in Flippin.
He was born January 28, 1950 in Gassville, Arkansas to Ulane Leon and Beulah (Carter) Chaney. He lived in Flippin most of his life. He was employed by Vexus Boats and Larry was owner-operator truck driver for most of his working life. He was known as ''Turtle'', his CB handle. His hobbies were watching old western movies and playing cards. He used to enjoy fishing.
Mr. Chaney is survived by his wife, Patty (Baker) Chaney of the home - they were married October 28, 1978 in Flippin - his three sons: Jason Chaney (Amanda) of Flippin, Travis Chaney of Carriere, Mississippi; Chance Chaney (Samantha) of La Vernia, Texas; his two daughters: Lori West (Guy) of Seguin, Texas; and Tonya Oliver of Stockdale, Texas; three sisters: Sandra Hardy (Brad) and Carol Treat (Jerry) all of Flippin, Patty Nelson (Charlie) of Exeter, Missouri; three brothers: Kenneth Chaney (Patty Ann) , Harold Chaney (Linda) all of Yellville, Ricky Chaney (Lora) of Star City, Arkansas; fourteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and one brother, Brad.
Visitation for Mr. Chaney will be 5:00 - 7:00 pm Thursday November 4, 2021 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Friday November 5, 2021 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Heith Hogan officiating.

Larry you were a good man and will be missed by many, but most by me your wife. You took a part of me with you and part of my heart when you left this life and went on to your next. I love you and will miss you for ever.
