Gary Lynn Glover, 76, of Guy, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 29, 2021, in his home. Mr. Glover was born on Wednesday, November 29, 1944, to the late H.E. Glover and Lora Alice Lamar Glover in Guy, Arkansas.
Gary was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Guy, Arkansas, for many years. He was a self-employed contractor, specializing in acoustical ceilings, which he traveled the state over for many years. Mr. Glover spent eight years serving the citizens of Guy, Arkansas as the mayor. He opened the first full-service gas station in Guy, Arkansas, and was known affectionately to the townspeople as ''Uncle Fudge.'' Some of the things Gary enjoyed were watching his girls play softball, fishing, playing men's softball, singing, and going to church. One of his many accomplishments in life was opening a softball field in Guy for the public.
Left to cherish his memory are; his three daughters, Aimee Glover of Guy, Arkansas, Lisa Bivens (Austin) of Cave Springs, Arkansas, Sara Bradley (Donny) of Wooster, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Spencer Bivens, Stewart Bivens, Bradon Bradley, Bree Bradley, S.K. Shittu (Alanna), Lukas Durasas; four brothers, Jim Glover of North Carolina, Bruce Glover (Vicky) of Guy, Arkansas, B.F. Glover (Sharon) of Guy, Arkansas, Mickey Glover (Kayla) of Damascus, Arkansas; three sisters, Wilma Evans of Conway, Arkansas, Joyce Battles (Bobby) of Greenbrier, Arkansas, Flo Stephens (David) of Guy, Arkansas and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mr. Glover is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of fifty-three years, Wilma ''Jeannie'' Glover; two brothers, J.T. Glover, Jerry Glover, and brother-in-law Truman Evans.
Visitation for Mr. Glover will be Sunday, October 31, 2021, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier, Arkansas, from 6-8:00pm. Funeral Service will be 10:00am, Monday, November 1, 2021, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Guy, Arkansas. Interment will follow at Old Texas Cemetery in Guy, Arkansas. Brother Tim Brewer will officiate.

Ben and I were so sorry to hear this news about Gary. We remembered that he and Grandad James Wiedower loved to play dominoes. He was truly a good man, and he will be missed.
