of Benton, AR
January 18, 1953 - September 28, 2021
On September 28, 2021, surrounded by the love of her devoted family, Jacqueline ''Jackie'' Lee Casey (age 68), died after a long struggle battling COVID-19. We all find comfort knowing that she is no longer suffering and has found peace. Jackie was the fourth of five children. She married young and moved from California, to Oregon briefly to have her first child and then to Arkansas where she lived for the following fifty years. Jackie was a professional house cleaner, starting in the hotel business and then doctors' offices and private homes with a few years spent cleaning hospital rooms at Saline Memorial Hospital. She loved to crochet, put together puzzles, spend quality time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and take care of her pets. She was quite the novice zookeeper. She had three chihuahuas, two love birds and a thirty-gallon aquarium inside her home. Does that sound overwhelming? Well, she also had a koi pond and a turtle habitat in her yard. She managed to make time to take care of all her babies, and have quite a successful ''green thumb''. She raised amazingly, beautiful plants.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Ethel Marek; Jackie is survived by husband, Dallas Kirkeby, ex-husband, Joe Casey Sr., four siblings, Connie Stocking, Ron Marek, Mike Marek and Sandra Boreliz, son, Joe Casey Jr.(Tammy), daughter, Valena Gilbert (Shannon); thirteen grandchildren Sam Watson, Kathryn Bowren (Nick), Milaya Crowder (Kevin), Michael Gilbert, RJ Casey, Daniel Casey, Joy Casey, Hope Casey, Toby Gilbert, Adria McNees, Trey Casey, Ernie Casey and Luby Casey, and six great grandchildren, Caspian Crowder, Milo Crowder, Danae Crowder, Kekoa Casey, Eowyn Crowder and Charley Bowren.
Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday October 8th, 2021 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home located at 10900 I-30, Little Rock, AR 72209.
Jackie is a kind lady with a wonderful sense of humor. I very much enjoyed talking with Jackie about her beautiful garden and many other subjects. I'll miss her smile and her laugh. Prayers of peace for Dallas and all of Jackie's family. Rest in peace beautiful Jackie.
