Charlotte Elizabeth Sawyer (Lindsey) Hardin, 81, of Scotland, Arkansas passed away September 28th, 2021. She was born in Henderson, Kentucky February 16, 1940. She was the daughter of the late Calvin Sawyer of Corydon, Kentucky and Mildred and Dennis Thomas of Crocketts Bluff, Arkansas.
Charlotte was a loving daughter, sister, mom, mamaw, great-memaw and friend to many and second mom to some. She retired from Producers Rice Mill in Stuttgart, Arkansas. She attended Scotland Lighthouse Church where she enjoyed the music and worship and friends in the community. She loved her Lord and Savior. She loved to crochet. She was very proud of the number of hats she had crocheted for the children at Children's Hospital. She loved reading, outdoors, gardening, traveling and visiting Louisiana. She especially loved her goats, cats and dogs.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Willett Lindsey of Aberdeen and second husband, Woody Hardin of Humnoke; sisters, Barbara Neel Sawyer, Caroline Durbin of Kentucky, Granddaughter, Emily Elizabeth Lindsey of Casscoe.
She is survived by Kelly (Kris) Lindsey of Casscoe; Marsaya (Hulie) Douglas of Scotland; Tanya and Bobby of Almyra; Dallas (Mike) Phillips of Whitehall; eight grandchildren: Eli Lindsey, Nick Risner, Clayton Risner, Ashley(Blake) Frizzell, Jessica Henderson, Erica Ponder, Dusty (Carrie) Ashcraft, Garrett (Amber) Ashcraft; great-grandchildren: Beckett, Kaylie, Jayden, Rowen, Reece, Zander, Mayson, Blayton, Colton, Rowdy, Wilder, Kymber, Grayson, Kortneigh, Kinsington; extended family and friends.
Visitation will be Friday morning, October 1st, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at Roller England Funeral Home (501) 842-3939. Services will follow at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Union Valley Cemetery, Coy, Arkansas.

Ms. Charlotte was one of a kind. She spoke her mind and that’s what I liked most about her. I missed the days y’all would stop by. We had some great conversations. She will be truly missed. I will be praying for you Marsaya. Love you Sis-n-law.
